The School Day (Key Stages 1 & 2)

8.45am - Senior Leadership Team are available in the playground to greet and talk to parents/carers. The first bell is rung and at this time all parents and children are welcome to come into school to meet the teacher and join in with classroom morning activities.

 

8.55am: School begins. A second bell is rung in the playground at this time. This means that all children must enter their classrooms and parents leave the school building for us to begin the school day. 

 

8.55am: All gates to the playground are locked.

 

Children arriving late for registration must sign in at the office. They will be given a late card to take to class informing the class teacher that the child is registered. All children must register for safety reasons in the event of an evacuation.

 

Lunchtimes:

 

Nursery: 11.30am to 1pm

 

Reception, Years 1 & 2: 12pm to 1pm

 

Years 3-6: 12.30pm to 1.30pm

 

3.25pm: School gates open.

 

3.30pm: School finishes.

 

Nursery, Reception, Years 1 & 2:  please collect children from their classroom door. If another responsible adult is collecting your child please introduce them to your child's teacher. The teachers WILL NOT allow your child to leave the premises with a person they have not been introduced to or been given the name of.

 

Years 3 - 6: teachers will take your child to the playground where they will remain with them until you arrive.

 

Years 5 & 6: children are allowed to leave the premises at the end of the day without an adult if permission is given in writing. 

 

If you are late the class teacher will take your child to the office area where their name will be written in the late book. When your child is collected the time of collection will be written in the book and the adult will be asked to sign.

 

If you know you are going to be late OR that you are unable to collect your child and will be sending another responsible adult please phone the office on 

0207 385 2107 before 3.15pm. This will ensure that we can get the message to your child's teacher and to your child. We aim to make changes to your child's routine as smooth as possible so an early call is appreciated.
