Digiduck Stories (Childnet)

The five stories in the Digiduck series were created to help parents and teachers educate children aged 3–7 about online safety. The collection includes a ebooks, PDFs, a poster and an interactive app.

Years 5 and 6 will be supported by an external professional, experienced in delivering sessions to primary aged children on relationships, puberty and online safety. Her content and resources will be available in a parents’ session prior to the pupil workshops.


The reading material and websites indicated in this list have been suggested by the Christopher Winter Programme as supporting resources to be used in class alongside the lesson resources.

 They are widely available to purchase should parents or carers wish to use these at home or to aid with answering children’s questions.


All reading material can be introduced from the year group indicated and then reintroduced in subsequent years if required.
